We are all different!

Il Divine Queer Film Festival is an independent film festival with an international vocation, with a Queer theme that explores the fluctuating themes of gender, different abilitiesà and migration.

After the wonderful experience as a juror at the 2019 edition of the festival, it seemed natural to us to propose a collaboration on the nascent platform of Streeen, thus creating our first partnership with a festival that will be online.

Through this collaboration, it will be possible to exclusively view the films that will be screened during the next edition, which will take place from March 20th to 23rd, 2020, for those who will not be in Turin and/or cannot attend the entire screening during the festival.

Furthermore Streeen will host a section dedicated to the best works selected from previous editions of the Festival.

The DQFF was born from the desire to break down, through cinematic language, stereotypes, prejudices, taboos and fears relating to the stories of transsexual/transgender people, disabled people and migrants.

It is an example of how cinema, through documentaries and fiction, can become an opportunityà of information, communication and training on realitiesà too often the object of stereotypes and prejudices.

Streeen shares the same vocation and we are happy to announce this collaboration.
