Throughout Italy, and probably throughout the world, primarily associations of various kinds, as well as savvy cinema exhibitors, organize film festivals. The festival becomes the place where the film engages with a topic we call "factual," because it refers to a certain type of facts, not necessarily the specificity of the film itself, which can be something else, such as good acting or particularly evocative photography, although these too constitute facts. This topic can be the author himself, the director, thus creating an authorial factuality, in which the films of one author compete and share the authorial space with other films by the same author. Or it can be tied to topics that bring together and share different authors and very different works on themes often linked to current events, artistic, historical, anthropological, and social research and investigations, or the expression of ideals and the preservation of memories. While reviews and small festivals continue to grow everywhere, in Italy, Europe, and around the world, this phenomenon is still poorly and unremarkably represented on the web, despite the infinite potential of the medium. While television series have been rampant on various streaming sites for years, no one has attempted to commercially capitalize on the cultural appeal of film reviews on the web. Now, finally, with Streeen! We'll be able to start managing film collections using special codes. Film festivals and reviews will be welcome in our catalog, and we'll be sure to organize them specifically for the web and theaters!
