On October 22, 2009, Stefano Cucchi died at the age of 31, in circumstances still to be ascertained, in the Protected Medicine Ward of the Sandro Pertini Hospital in Rome, 6 days after his arrest.
In the last six days of his short life he was denied all rights.
The documentary is an attempt to turn the Cucchi affair into an act of denunciation, expanding, in light of the development of the investigation and time, a new and revealing human reflection.
The complaint takes shape in the story, through the legalistic form of the demand for truth and justice, declared by the numerous and diverse testimonies that follow one another in the documentary.
Especially those of the Cucchi family. Stefano Cucchi died "in prison." In October 2009, when the events occurred, 147 people had already died in Italian penitentiaries. Stefano Cucchi was the 148th person. In December, the number will rise to 177. Most are young.
A shocking impact for a democratic and civilized country for which there seems to be no solution today.
