Giovanna Marturano is a small 101-year-old woman, with the joy of a child.

Her words echo the history of 900th-century Italy, that of a woman and an ordinary family, as she defines it, but which is anything but ordinary.

Hers is a partisan story, from the side that for a century fought against fascist totalitarianism and for true social justice. Giovanna knows how to tell stories and she loves doing so, through her books, through meetings with the younger generations, through political interventions, and in front of a video camera.

He does so with the clarity of someone who has lived life and knows the true meaning of things, but above all he does so with irony and frankness.
