Adriano Sofri, why? The last prisoner, who knows, (at home, of course, for serious health reasons) of a generation that tried to overturn the world and bring justice. A loser. Perhaps the most defeated among us, but a bearer of lucid intelligence and exquisite culture. Detained under house arrest while mass murderers and mass murderers leave prison and give interviews. Despite—or precisely because of—a constant advocacy of innocence. And, at the same time, an opinion leader in the media for many, especially young people, who know his signature, but probably ignore his features. Someone who sought walls for himself in Chechnya or Sarajevo. Or simply by refusing to escape. Someone whose memory will not soon fade.
