The Ladybugs – transsexual drama

They are not drag queens nor do they aspire to be highly polished femme fatales, they do not perform Raffaella Carrà playbacks and they do not dress up as pop icons.

Gennaro, Tonino, Genny and Giacinto are four Neapolitan ladies, four trans from the alleys of Naples.

In the rooms of restaurants furnished in a fake baroque style, the Ladybugs sing and act out their skits, telling stories of prostitution,
the judgment of the "high-ranking" people, the hypocrisy of the clients but also the friendship with the women of the neighborhood and the joy of living of the Neapolitan people.

In front of an audience of hungry guests at the wedding banquet, this hilarious mix of sacred and profane, ancient and
modern, normal and different.
