I would do it again tomorrow
Introduction
The history of the Resistance in Turin's Borgo Vittoria neighborhood through the memories of its protagonists, the daily lives and hopes of a generation.
Synopsis
Simple words and images, so as not to forget.
The film, shot with makeshift equipment and essentially self-produced, made use of excellent professional collaborations such as Pè Calopresti and Alessandro Amaducci.
In 1992 it was presented in competition at the X Festival Cinema Giovani in Turin and in the following years distributed in several hundred VHS copies in schools in Turin and its province for educational viewings guided by some of the protagonists by ANPI
Author's Statement:
I think that re-proposing a documentary like this to the public on April 25th, in collaboration with the National Cinema Museum, thirty years after its making, is beautiful and necessary.
Because it is only through the collective memory of these extraordinarily ordinary women and men that we can keep firm the one wall that, personally, I do not want to tear down.
What separates those who fought for freedom from the fascists of yesterday and today"
Claudio Paletto
