Metamorphosis

The idea for the film was born from the protagonist's desire to tell her story and from the encounter in 2005 with the directors who decided to tell her story. Sandeh was born in Catania in 1964 but at the age of 15 At the age of 18, she was kicked out of her home by her stepfather for dressing "too femininely." She moved to Turin and She began working for Fiat until she was fired for wearing women's clothing. She began a career of prostitution and drug addiction which did not prevent her from being among the founders in 1982, at the age of 18, of the MIT, Italian Transsexual Movement.
