The trial ended, two years later, with his final acquittal on the most serious charge of drug dealing.

But the five months "remain"

After more than fifteen years, Johnson/Stefano returns to a prison (Le Nuove in Turin), now no longer a place of detention but in the meantime become a museum, to try to retrace, from a distance of time, that traumatic experience.

Thus begins a journey of personal recollection, where he recalls events, characters, and fears, aware of one indisputable fact: whoever enters prison, even for just one day, never leaves.
