The research focuses on small lentils grown on small volcanic islands around Sicily.

Together with archaeobotanist Claudia, who focuses on the scientific side, the director's aim is to conduct anthropological, historical, and ethnographic research to create a mosaic of "talking heads" of island farmers over seventy.
