We are living through dramatic days that will leave an indelible mark on our individual lives, on Italian history, and on the history of humanity as a whole.
These are days of frustration, anxiety, and fear that we can't always fully express, prey to messages, announcements, and situations capable of changing direction in an instant.
In this particular and delicate moment, having a space to communicate, we want to express our deepest solidarity, first and foremost with the weakest, the marginalized, the forgotten.
To the sick, not only those with coronavirus, who cannot leave hospitals, and to those who continue to treat them. To prisoners, who cannot escape situations, often appalling even in normal times, of overcrowding and forced promiscuity. To all those forced to live in hospices, orphanages, foundling homes, reformatories, and every form of total institution. To those who, by decree or out of a sense of duty, cannot leave their jobs. To those who habitually live on the streets and those who simply don't have a home.
