On the occasion of the 2020 Holocaust Remembrance Day, the day that commemorates the victims of the Holocaust on the date of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp by the troops of the Red Army, Francesco Momberti's film "Emanuele Artom, the boy from via Sacchi" exclusively on Streeen!

An emblematic story of the Resistance struggle, that of Emanuele Artom, a young Jewish teacher and partisan murdered by the Nazis on April 7, 1944, provides a vivid example of the experience of clandestine partisan groups, seen from a scholar's perspective. It offers a reinterpretation of his diary—a unique document written in real time—using firsthand accounts and dramatic reconstructions, moving from the Piedmont valleys, the scene of the clandestine struggle, to the Mirafiori neighborhood on the southern outskirts of Turin, with its partially demolished tower houses.
