Bio

BabyDoc Film is an audiovisual production company founded in 2007 by Enrico Giovannone and Andrea Parena, who have shared a passion for cinema since high school. Both graduates of the DAMS (Degrees of Music and Performing Arts) in Turin, they worked in various fields before launching BabyDoc Film. Enrico was an educator and then an editor and RVM manager at Lumiq Studios in Turin. Andrea worked as a freelance cameraman and as a producer of industrial and technical films for a chemical company.

During the making of “Operai” (2007), a TV documentary shot in Turin, produced in Rome, for which Enrico acts as executive producer in Piedmont and Andrea as filmmaker, Francesca Frigo joins the crew, reinforced from Rome, as filmmaker.

Since then, except for a few stints making television documentaries for Roman production companies or for MTV, Francesca has collaborated steadily with BabyDoc Film, until she also became a partner in 2012.
