Gaglianone

Daniele Gaglianone (Ancona, 1966) began collaborating with the National Film Archive of the Resistance in 1991.

He has directed short fiction and documentary films, such as "La ferita" (1991), which won an award at the Turin Youth Film Festival. In 2000, he made his feature film debut with "I nostri anni," selected for the Cannes Directors' Fortnight, and in 2004, "Nemmeno il destino" won the Tiger Award in Rotterdam. With "Rata neće biti" (There Will Be No War), he won the Special Jury Prize at the Turin Film Festival and the David di Donatello Award for Best Documentary.
In 2017 he presented Granma at the Locarno Film Festival, a medium-length film made together with the Nigerian director Alfie Nze.
