Bio

He has directed films, TV series, and documentaries shot in Italy and the United States, where in the early 4s he filmed The Immigrant, a story of drug-addicted vampires in New York's Lower East Side, which brought him to the attention of critics and was broadcast on Rai 3. He has since directed several horror films, including Witchcraft, starring Linda Blair and David Hasselhoff, which debuted at number one at the Italian box office, and Creepers, as well as the TV series Voci notturne for RAI and the TV movie Olimpo Lupo, cronista di morte for Mediaset. His documentaries include Il segreto di Mussolini, which inspired Marco Bellocchio's film Vincere, presented at the Turin Film Festival, Cene Galeotte, and Baci Rubati, about the condition of homosexuals during fascism. In 2019, he presented the documentary Life As a B-Movie: Piero Vivarelli, dedicated to director and screenwriter Piero Vivarelli, at the 76th Venice International Film Festival (in the Classics - Documentaries section).
