Giuliano

d'Angiolini

Giuliano d'Angiolini was born in Rome in 1960. He is a composer, musicologist, and ethnomusicologist. He has published numerous essays on music from the Middle Ages to the present day and on various types of oral tradition.

His works have been performed by renowned artists, at important festivals and broadcast by numerous radio stations.

A first album of his compositions, performed by the Ensemble 2e2m and the Quatuor Parisii, was released by Edition RZ. Four further monographic albums have been released by the Another Timbre, Elsewhere, and ACEL labels.
