Bussolati

Mariella Bussolati, a freelance journalist for Repubblica, graduated from the Piccolo Teatro School (1986) and the Luchino Visconti School of Cinema and Television in Milan (2013), documentary course, began producing videos in 2009 on social issues. In 2009 she started a multimedia project called Ortodiffuso and made the short film on European community gardens, Trasformazioni urbane, which participated in the Kuminda festival (2013), the Agroflm festival Slovenia, (2013), and the Docucity Festival (2014). Another farming is possible, a short about sustainable farming, was awarded second place at the Golden Goat International Film Festival 2013. The film Tearing Love, about violence against women, was screened at Sguardi altrove film festival, Fondazione Milano, Macao, Cinema Lumière, Aiasp Casa dei Popoli, won the short doc award at the New York Festival of New Cinema (2015), was selected at Roma Doc, Singapore World Film Festival (2016), Ozark short Film Festival (2016), and won Best short doc at the Eurovision Palermo Film Festival (2017). The microvideo Hepatitis C was selected at the 60 seconds or less Film Festival, Washington University. The film Zampe uomini e radici was selected at the Festival Sicilia Ambiente 2018 and at Agricorto 2019. He edited the film Apocalypse down (2016). The film Punching the City was selected by Sport Film Festival Palermo, Dumbo Film Festival, Holly Weird Film Festival, won the Excellence award in Viewer Impact: Motivational/Inspirational at the Doc without borders film festival, finalist at the Chungju International Martial Arts & Action Film Festival, Korea.
Boxing Estate, selected by The Impact DOCS Awards, was presented at the Iper Festival in the outskirts of Rome, at the Avvistamenti festival in Rome and was a finalist at the Docucity festival in Milan.
