Bio

Niccolò Bruna is an independent filmmaker and producer, a member of the Italian Film Academy. He has been experimenting with the expressive tools of real-life cinema since 1999, when he attended courses at EICTV, the Cuban film and television school then directed by Gabriel García Márquez. With a degree in Modern Literature, he specialized in directing at the National Film School (CSC), studying with Abbas Kiarostami and Werner Herzog. Over the past 15 years, he has filmed in over 30 countries around the world, making quality films that combine human interest with social urgency.
