Synopsis

Streeen is happy to present a review dedicated to Camera - Italian Center for Photography of Turin, in order to seal the relationship that has been established between cinema and photography, two worlds that will never stop contaminating each other.

ROOM It was born in 2015 as an international project: a unique hub dedicated to photography, capable of strengthening the ties that Italy has with other realities dedicated to this art, promoting dialogues with artists and institutions.

Through its various initiatives, it aims to be a point of reference for citizens through a diversified cultural offering for all audiences, from enthusiasts to professionals.

Since 2020, Streeen and CAMERA have collaborated through screenings both at CAMERA's headquarters and with events streamed on our website, works that you can find brought together here for the first time.

As CAMERA has well understood with its initiatives, cinema can also be a tool with which to create a debate and a reflection around the photographic medium and its figures, as well Streeen with this exhibition he shows how the seventh art can allow us to delve deeper into and rediscover photography and its artists.

The works presented in the exhibition allow us to remember figures who have played a fundamental role in the development of photographic art, analyzing their biography and their personal contribution through interviews with the photographers themselves, people close to them in life and work, or international experts able to tell and explain their work.

Films can be enjoyed with a subscription or individually, using the methods shown for each individual film: rental, free, or in other festivals.
