Synopsis
We are pleased to present the “foreign” works of Niccolò Bruna – known in Italy for co-directing films such as Dust, the great asbestos trial (85′-2011), on asbestos in Casale Monferrato and Magic Arena(90′-2014), behind the scenes at the Verona Arena, both made with Andrea Prandstraller
An independent director and producer, over the past 15 years he has shot in over 30 countries around the world, making films that combine human interest and social urgency.
A member of the Italian Film Academy, he has lived in Barcelona for years, driven by his work commitments, where he continues to experiment with the expressive tools and narrative solutions of documentary and real-life cinema, with works presented and awarded at major international festivals.
Here is a selection of his films shot in Namibia, Ethiopia and Cuba, acclaimed at international festivals and almost invisible in Italy, available throughout the Italian territory.
