Ambra Tonini lives and works in Paris, where since 2014 he has studied photography and specialized in video directing and editing.
His journeys through images, between photography, installation and video, propose delicate forms that the viewer tries to reconstruct by also inserting fragments of his own story.
He teaches cinematography at the institute CLCF of Paris and collaborates with HEK-Historias, a network of socially engaged documentaries in Colombia, Kenya and Bangladesh.
In 2024 with the film Das Rad Ambra Tonini won the Award Streeen of the Torino Underground Cinefest
