Synopsis

On the occasion of the 12rd edition of the Turin Underground Cinefest (September 2025), with the artistic direction of Alessandro Amato, Streeen! has created a review dedicated to one of the Turin festivals that is expanding most within the national and international film scene thanks to the space dedicated to unconventional works.

Born in 2013 from the mind of Mauro Russo Rouge, the festival initially lasted 2 days but today lasts 10, during which more than 100 films from all over the world are presented to the public.

In addition to presenting high-quality, authoritative cinematic works to the public, the Torino Underground Cinefest is very active in promoting and supporting activities and practices that protect the environment, making the festival an example of ecological responsibility.

The present exhibition marks a fruitful collaboration with the TUC, culminating in the 11th edition with the presence of the Award Streeen!, awarded by our jury to the best film in the Documentary section.

Our catalogue is constantly being enriched with works presented over the course of the various editions, which will be presented here in chronological order: from Circology, psychedelic short film made by Tero Peltoniemi until Das Rad, intimate documentary by Amba Tonini winner of the Premio Streeen!, passing through the road trip shown in Somehow of the collective group Aki T. Weisshaus, the TUC has grown steadily over the years, receiving two thousand works in selection in its 11th edition.

A selection not to be missed, which will be enriched with new works over time, to immerse you even more in independent cinema and its new authors.
