Synopsis
Born in Isernia in 1993, Lucia Magnifico studied New Technologies for Art at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts (Milan) investigating the boundaries between art and documentary in marginal realities, particularly migratory ones.
Following the common thread of migration and the search for an audiovisual and ethical language to narrate it, he earned a master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology in Bologna, concluding with an ethnographic thesis in Visual Anthropology on the ethics of filming the migration crisis along the Balkan route.
In addition to migratory themes, the author also experiments with autobiographical language through video diaries.
