Pierfranco Milanese (Alessandria, 1956) began working in visual communication with the Blood Video group in 1982.
In 1990 he was among the founders of Index, a film and video production company.
For the Shoah Foundation in Spielberg, in 1998 he collected and filmed testimonies and memories of survivors of Nazi concentration camps.
His professional experiences with Jean Rouch in 1986 and with Robert Kramer in 1998 were important.
