Bio
Roberto Cannavò was born in Messina in 1990 and graduated from the DAMS in Bologna in 2016.
Assistant to Paolo “Fiore” Angelini in the films “I Met Magnus” and “Mrs. Matilde” and assistant director in the projects “ER Connection” and “Opera Mundi”. He collaborates in the production of journalistic videos with the University of Bologna and UISP Emilia-Romagna.
He made his directorial debut in 2017 with the documentary on the juvenile prison of Bologna “La Prima Volta” (best documentary at the Matera Sport Film Festival and the National Festival of Integrated Sport).
The short film “Divieto di Transito” is from 2020.
