"Bullied to death" depicts a 24 hour performance against homophobia through the real stories of teenagers worldwide that experience severe bullying episodes at school, from their own families and on the web, as a result of their coming out about their sexuality.

Based on the book “Ocean Terminal” by Piergiorgio Welby Italian poet, painter and activist whose three-month-long battle to establish his right to die led to a debate about euthanasia in Italy, an exclusive short preview of the next film by Giovanni Coda.
Sinossi
Born in Cagliari (Italy) in 1964, in the last 30 years of his career, Giovanni Coda was able to stand out with a body of work that ranges from photography to theater to cinema. Often on the edge of different visual languages, he was able to create a recognizable and provocative aesthetics for his socially engaged films, that perfectly embody Streeen’s cultural mission.
From June 11th all the 3 feature films realised by Coda will be available on streeen.org (on demand 2,80 euros/film, monthly subscription 6,50 euros): Mark’s Diary, (2019) will have its worldwide streaming premiere along with Bullied To Death (2016) and Il Rosa Nudo (2013). Critically acclaimed internationally these three feature films transform the art of cinema in a powerful weapon to fight the inequalities and oppression the LGBTQIA community is still facing today.
The Coda retrospective proposed by Streeen also includes two shorts, Xavier (free streaming till June 30th), Behind the scenes – Mark’s Diary (special content for subscribers) and the trailer of his upcoming project Histoire d’une larme on the life and death of Piergiorgio Welby who fought for legal recognition of euthanasia.
